Defender, Discovery, Motorhome – Before n After rustproofing

Classification: d) Very rusty vehicles where I either find one instance of rot or where no rot is found but it is expected that the customer will have to bring back the vehicle for re-treatment at least once under the guarantee. These customers will have to pay an extra £100 for the guarantee and £200 for re-treatment under the guarantee.
Another typical Scottish car. Very rusty underneath in spite of low mileage. I think it likely that the car has been standing somewhere for a long period because it had the symptoms of standing rot, ie: some areas fairly rust free and others where it was so rusty that there were laminations that I had to chisel off. Some welding needed on the rear cross member and customer will have to bring it back for me to finish. Although I can't guarantee that it won't need re-treatment for 10 years it should last well now.
