Defender, Discovery, Motorhome – Before n After rustproofing

Classification: c) Over 10 years old but very clean for age. Not expected to need re-treatment under the guarantee.
In much better condition than I expected underneath given the year and the mileage. There were signs of it having been waxoyled previously but this had been worn very thin by repeated pressure washing. After my treatment, when pressure washing to remove mud, do not use a hot pressure wash as this will remove the coating very quickly!. Use a fan jet, never a pencil jet, stand well back and remove just the worst of the mud. If you are too zealous, the pressure wash hitting the mud will have a scouring effect on the coating. It's not necessary to remove every last vestige of mud because it will be sitting on my coating and not doing any harm.
